ADI TOURS (our initials stand for “Arts Development International”) has been organizing international concert tours for choirs, orchestras, bands, and jazz ensembles, for the past 40 years. Each year, our company sends hundreds of Americans abroad on specialized concert tours. Today, ADI TOURS has established programs in over 50 countries in Europe, Mexico & Central & South America, Australia & New Zealand, Africa, the Caribbean, and Asia.
In addition, ADI TOURS has ongoing shared concert venues for choirs, orchestras, bands, and jazz ensembles in most of the 50+ countries in which it operates. The shared concert venue is an important ingredient in the company’s philosophy of true cultural exchange and, subsequently, ADI has established similar like-host organizations around the world sharing that same philosophy.
ADI TOURS’ International Headquarters are in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and the company maintains its own European offices in Prague and St. Petersburg (Russia), with affiliate offices and associates in all major capitals worldwide. ADI’s in-house travel agency, AD Travel, is a fully bonded, fully licensed member of IATAN, the International Travel Agency Network, and maintains more than $5 million in consumer protection insurance coverage.
– ADI staff is comprised of trained musicians, educators, and travel specialists who have an uncommonly refined knowledge and understanding of the needs of performing ensembles abroad. They possess a unique combination of skills and experience and have a highly specialized training to plan and organize successful concerts for ensembles of varying sizes, repertoires, ages, and abilities. Touring ensemble Directors work most closely with an ADI designated Tour Consultant, in advising, coordinating, and facilitating their custom-designed tour.
In short, performing arts organizations that travel with ADI TOURS can be assured that they will benefit from our programming and travel expertise on both sides of the Atlantic and Pacific. Because we do all of our travel arrangements in-house (including airline reservations, ticketing, hotels, sightseeing, transportation, etc.), ensembles are assured excellent quality control over all aspects of their tour.
Recently, USA Department of State travel restrictions have been lifted making travel to CUBA easier, less costly, and more efficient – creating a “demand tour destination” for American Performing Arts Organizations, particularly Choirs, Bands, Orchestras, Jazz Ensembles & Dance.
For the past few years, through its “People-To-People Cultural Exchange Programs” in CUBA, ADI Tours was instrumental in “opening-up Cuba” to our performing arts organization clients. Now, because of mutual American & Cuba Government cooperation, the cost of those programs is significantly less and our concert venues & shared concert venues are stronger and better than ever.
Our concert tour programs include the vibrant UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Havana, the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Las Terrazas, the Provinces cities of Cienfuegos and Trinidad (another UNESCO World Heritage site) – all included in specially designed programs for Performing Arts Organizations.
ADI Cuba programs give each organization concert venues that emphasize a close-up and personal experience in sharing our American culture with the Cuban people’s history, lifestyle, and culture.

“Taking almost 100 excited youngsters to Russia and the Czech Republic was a herculean effort, particularly since 99% of our band members had never been out of the USA. However, ADI Tours was phenomenal and in total control of every logistic on our tour. The concerts and audiences were unbelievable and really showed our students how their music could and did bridge all politics, cultural, and race differences. Our hats are off to ADI Tours – you are the best!”
“Once again, ADI Tours has outdone itself. Our Madrigal Singers have toured with ADI for many years and they have always provided our Singers with wonderful concert venues and appreciative audiences. Our recent tour to Belgium and France was superb!”
“WOW” is all I can say. The stunning symphony hall concert sites and the full-house audiences gave our young musicians an experience they will never forget. Our orchestra concert tour of Argentina was much more than a success – it was a life-changing moment for our students, staff, and for me, personally. Thank you ADI Tours!”
“The concerts ADI arranged during our recent tour to China were an inspiration to our chorus members and a source of acclaim for our University and Music Department. The concert halls and performing venues were magnificent and each of our performances were packed with enthusiastic audiences. In fact, at our last concert, the theater held 3,000 seats – and it was standing room only – an extraordinary experience!”
“Before we left for our concert tour of Ireland and England, I was a bit nervous of how an American student jazz band would be received. Boy, was I in for a surprise! The audiences loved our jazz program and at every concert we had to play encores. ADI Tours did a fabulous job – concert halls, audiences, publicity, hotels, sightseeing, meals and personable guides throughout the tour were beyond our expectations – our best tour ever! BRAVO ADI Tours!”
“Our choir has toured with ADI on 10 different tours, spanning 20+ different countries. ADI Tours personal care, support, and impeccable tour arrangements have made them our school’s #1 concert tour company and the reasons our choirs consistently travel and tour under their auspices, year-after-year!”
“We’ve traveled to Romania, Poland, Hungary, Austria, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovakia and China with ADI, and every detail of our tour was smoothly and professionally handled. They were also responsible for our invitation to perform in six cities in mainland China; a tremendous opportunity for our dancers.”
My colleague and I use ADI for our student Arts Abroad tours and we were thrilled with the extensive, more-than-required hands-on support we received. Let me make it clear: We have toured students abroad for 29 years AND WE ARE FUSSY!
What impressed us the most is that ADI has developed PERSONAL relationships with major venues and contacts abroad. They often know the people personally – a huge advantage over other agencies. ADI was always efficient, always giving the best prices, and always in touch.
Something that is VERY important to us, is that ADI is run by people who are highly cultured and educated in many different academic areas, from the arts to history to architecture to business.
We speak the same language! We recommend ADI Tours without the slightest hesitation.
As a director of an academic short-term college study abroad program for 30 years, our students study the arts in European capitals over a two-week January intercession – usually enrolling about 40 college students
You cannot find a better professional consulting and management travel team like ADI.They came through for us every time, met every requirement, and delivered many unexpected additions that made our tours unique.
Significantly, ADI prices routinely are lower than their competitors. In my mind they are the premiere travel experts in the business. They are the people who will ensure a successful, safe and memorable trip for your students. I can’t recommend them enough!
Free Tour Cost – Ensemble Directors of all ADI contracted concert tour programs always travel FREE, and, based upon a ratio of enrolled participants, your ensemble’s Assistant(s) or Chaperone(s) can travel FREE, too.
ADI appreciates and recognizes the work and dedication Directors give in organizing their ensemble’s concert tour abroad. This is why ADI honors them with FREE tour costs, including a private single room throughout the tour and a full insurance package.
Cash Referral Bonus –Once a Director’s ensemble’s has toured abroad with ADI, any referral made by that Director to a colleague or other ensemble of 25 or more participants, and resulting in that ensemble contracting with ADI, the Director is automatically rewarded with a $2,500 Cash Bonus Payment for personal or ensemble use.
